In this poetry Special, we are celebrating the Tamil poetry of Thurka a prominent female poet of the 2000s in the Tamil language in the diaspora. There are a lot of women writers who disappeared after showing great potential and growth in their craft. The modern women\u2019s \u201cdouble burden\u201d and general dislike about women writing by their families is still a thing. <\/p>\n\n\n
