From the restricted scenes\/views through their \u2018house\/home\u2019 windows to the indirect strings of family Unit, women have come a long way with their desire to escape and explore the world (and the words) that were not allowed to them. From the early songs of Sanyasinis\u2013female monks, the rare records<\/p>\n

of their traveling adventures and enlightenment, there in women\u2019s herstory, their fight\/struggle to call a space or a place or an idea as their own. As modern women, what is our contemporary take on the mind that wants to escape? Let us express our worlds & words in any \/many art forms as possible: Poems, Photographs, Prose, Experiences, Stories, Mixed Media \u2013 all are welcome.<\/p>\n
